Tremonti- Dust

Growing up in the 90′s there were tons of great artists just beginning or in the full glory of their career. Among the many that have continued in one way or another Mark Tremonti would be among our picks for greatest 90′s Artists. With a Hit Single studded career split between his time with Creed and his time with Alter Bridge. In 2012 he took his first steps as a solo artist and lead singer with his album “All I Was”. Three years later, with the departure of bassist Brian Marshall and the induction of Legendary Van Halen Bassist; Wolfgang Van Halen, 2015 saw the release of Tremonti’s sophomore album “Cauterize”.

April 29th Tremonti released their ground shaking new album “Dust”, recorded during the same sessions as “Cauterize” and produced by the same producer who produced Alter Bridge’s albums as well as the last two Tremonti albums, Michael “Elvis” Baskette. Proceeded by the singles: “Dust”, “My Last Mistake”, “Betray Me” and ‘Catching Fire”; These were more than enough to have us upright in our chairs and prepared for a sonic assault.

We were not disappointed. The complete synchronicity of everyone combined with the clarity of Mark’s voice left us feeling more than satisfied. Not missing a beat drummer Garrett Whitlock hammers out the perfect rhythm to keep our hearts pounding. Going from Van Halen to Tremonti Wolfgang is more than on par keeping perfect timing and mood. Though he sings himself, Mark Tremonti is on top of his game on all fronts.
